Rainforest Retreat

Rainforest Retreat sits just metres from Noosa National Park, surrounded by dense subtropical rainforest and only a short walk from Noosa’s famous points. The setting is serene, but appearances can be deceptive: this beautiful backdrop presented a series of site challenges we were keen to tackle.

Reducing the impact on the surrounding ecosystem was vital. A compact footprint encourages breezes and draws natural light into the home while embracing the beauty of the rainforest. The design’s restraint allows the setting to remain at the heart of the experience.
