Passive design for comfortHidden away in a quiet, leafy setting in Doonan, on the Sunshine Coast, Bonavista is a simple yet elegant family home with the sublime atmosphere of a retreat in Ubud.
Operable glass walls allow the lower living zone to become a sheltered outdoor lounge, opening directly to meticulously manicured tropical gardens. Above, the upper level appears to hover effortlessly, creating shelter while an abundance of glass keeps the space connected to its lush surroundings.
Sliding glass panels and louvres offer a range of configurations, allowing the occupants to adjust the space to the weather and enjoy the garden throughout the day.
